Sarah Ferguson's whereabouts finally revealed as she's pictured amid Epstein scandal: 'Perfect place to lie low'
Sarah has been lying low in recent monthsSarah Ferguson’s whereabouts has seemingly been revealed as the Epstein scandal rumbles on.
The former Duchess of York, 66, has been lying low for some months now amid intense scrutiny over her past association with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
At the start of the year, the US Department of Justice released millions of files relating to Epstein and his crimes. Within these files, emails allegedly appeared to show the extent of Sarah’s friendship with the disgraced financier.
Last year, Sarah was dropped from several charities as claims regarding her association with Epstein came to light.
Since then, Sarah has kept a very low profile and many have wondered about her whereabouts.

Sarah Ferguson’s whereabouts revealed
According to The Sun, Sarah, aka Fergie, had not been seen in public for 213 days. Now, the publication has revealed where Sarah has been amid all the scandal.
In images obtained by The Sun, Sarah looked casually dressed as she was spotted in a quiet Austrian ski village.
The name of the village hasn’t been revealed.

Sarah wore a blue coat and a white baseball cap as she carried a tote bag.
A source claimed: “Fergie has been keeping an incredibly low profile while high up in the Alps.
“She hasn’t been seen for a long time and has clearly wanted to keep it that way. Her choice of outfit when she popped out was obviously carefully chosen to help her avoid being recognised.
“The area is absolutely beautiful and it’s very quiet most of the time, so it’s the perfect place for a high-profile figure such as her to lie low when the heat is on.”
Royal Insider has contacted representatives for Sarah for comment.

Sarah Ferguson’s relationship with Epstein
Last September, Sarah attended the Duchess of Kent’s funeral service alongside her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. King Charles and the Prince and Princess of Wales also attended the service.
However, weeks later, emails resurfaced allegedly between Sarah and Epstein.
One email reportedly sent from Sarah in April 2011 appeared to show her describing Epstein, who died in prison in August 2019, as a “steadfast, generous and supreme friend”.
Fergie has been keeping an incredibly low profile while high up in the Alps.
The email was sent just weeks after Sarah publicly vowed to cut all ties with Epstein after accepting £15,000 from him to help settle debts. She had told the Evening Standard in an interview at the time: “I personally, on behalf of myself, deeply regret that Jeffrey Epstein became involved in any way with me.
“I abhor paedophilia and any sexual abuse of children and know that this was a gigantic error of judgement on my behalf.”
Last year, a spokesperson for Sarah claimed that the 2011 email was sent under duress. They said that Epstein had “threatened to sue her for defamation for associating him with paedophilia”.
However, after the emails emerged, several charities announced they had cut ties with Sarah. Since then, Sarah has been lying low.

Sarah Ferguson ‘named’ in Epstein files
Scrutiny intensified earlier this year after the release of millions of Epstein files. Both Sarah and her ex-husband Andrew were seemingly named in the files.
Within the files, one email from 2009 appeared to show Sarah describing Epstein as “the brother I have always wished for”.
Meanwhile, in 2010, as reported by the BBC, an email from “Sarah” to Epstein read: “You are a legend. I really don’t have the words to describe, my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness.
“Xx I am at your service . Just marry me.”
Andrew and Sarah leave Royal Lodge
Following the release of the files, both Sarah and Andrew have left Royal Lodge in Windsor. It came after King Charles initiated a formal process to have his brother Andrew’s royal titles removed last October. Andrew was also ordered to leave Royal Lodge.
Andrew had lived there since 2004. According to reports, Sarah moved into the Windsor property in 2008.
Andrew, who has always denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein, has since moved to the king’s Sandringham Estate.
In February, Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. It came after he was accused of sharing sensitive and confidential information with Epstein in 2010 during his time as UK’s trade envoy.
Being named or pictured among the Epstein files is not an indication of wrongdoing.
