Princess Eugenie has revealed she is pregnant with her third baby in an adorable surprise post to Instagram.
The royal shared a snap of her ultrasound image, clutched in the hands of her two sons, August and Ernest.

Princes Eugenie had taken a six month hiatus from social media, but has returned with a splash as she shared a simple yet adorable announcement to celebrate her pregnancy.
In the snap, the top of August and Ernest’s heads could be seen as they held an ultrasound image. The princess penned in the caption: “Baby Brooksbank due 2026!”
And, of course, royal observers are thrilled, with countless flocking to the comments to share their best wishes.
One penned: “Congratulations! So happy for you all.”
Another gushed: “Aww that’s wonderful news!”

“Aw congratulations you deserve some good news,” added a third.
“Many congratulations! Welcome back to Insta,” chimed in a fourth.

In less than half an hour, at the time of writing, the announcement post has already garnered over 20,000 likes.
Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace has also confirmed the news.
Buckingham Palace confirm Princess Eugenie is expecting her third baby
The palace’s statement in full read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.
“August (aged five) and Ernest (aged two) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family.
“His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.”
The new royal arrival will shift along the line of succession.
Royal news: Princess Eugenie’s pregnancy announcement
The baby will be born 15th in line to the throne. This means, their great uncle the Duke of Edinburgh, will move down to 16th place.
Princess Eugenie’s third baby will also be the 15th great-grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
They will also be the fifth grandchild of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The announcement came just a day after Princess Eugenie shared a sweet tribute to celebrate her husband, Jack Brooksbank, whom she wed in 2018, on his 40th birthday.
Alongside a snap of him lounging in the sand on a beach, she wrote: “Happy 40th my love.”
