Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 'fresh start' with royal family revealed: 'There isn't any anger anymore'
The Sussexes are reportedly hoping for a UK visit this summerPrince Harry and Meghan Markle may have marked a “fresh start” with their recent behaviour, according to a royal commentator.
After stepping back from their working royal roles in 2020, Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the royal family has become strained. This is due to their tell-all interviews and Harry’s memoir Spare, which contained damning allegations about the royal family.
However, one royal commentator thinks Harry and Meghan have marked a big shift with their antics in recent months.

Speaking to the Mirror, royal author Duncan Larcombe reflected on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s May 2018 wedding.
This week, Harry and Meghan celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary.
Duncan said: “There wasn’t negativity when they got married, and she was seen by many people as a breath of fresh air. Meghan would love to go back to how things were, when Harry was way up in the opinion polls and officially the most popular royal after the late queen.”
He went on to discuss rumours that Harry, Meghan and their kids Archie and Lilibet could visit the UK this summer.
Some sources claim that Harry would like an invite to Balmoral this summer to spend time with his family. However, nothing has been confirmed.

Duncan continued: “There’s every chance they might all come over as a family this summer. I think Meghan’s probably keen that her children meet their cousins, uncles and aunties.
‘There isn’t the anger anymore’
“They’ve stopped their attacks on the royals and in many ways are now behaving like members of the family, as we saw during their visit to Australia. It looks like this is a fresh start. They’re acting in ways they would have if they’d never left the royal family in the first place. There isn’t the anger and bitterness anymore.”
Earlier this month, reports claimed that Harry wants to bring his kids to the UK this summer.
An insider claimed to Closer: “Harry and Meghan are expected to spend over a month in Europe this summer, using their newly completed villa in Portugal as a base while travelling back and forth for engagements and private visits. The family are understood to be flying over shortly after Archie and Lilibet finish school in June.
They’ve stopped their attacks on the royals and in many ways are now behaving like members of the family.
“Harry is pushing hard for a family stay at Balmoral this summer while he and Meghan are based in Europe, with hopes of arranging a private meeting with King Charles. He’s determined to make it happen. Harry genuinely believes Balmoral could be the place where things finally start healing.”
Harry ‘fears’ Queen Camilla would make UK visit ‘miserable’
Meanwhile, in a new report in Heat magazine, a source alleged that Harry fears Queen Camilla will make his UK return “miserable”.
The insider claimed: “Camilla has made herself Charles’ gatekeeper, and Harry it appears, that keeping Harry and Meghan away from Charles is one of her top priorities. She feels totally justified. Whenever anyone questions whether it’s time to forgive and forget for the sake of family peace, she just points to everything Harry and Meghan have said about the family and insists there can be no real trust after that.

“By all accounts Charles has started softening toward Harry, but Camilla certainly has not, and if she has her way, Harry’s trip to the U.K. is going to be as miserable as she can make it.”
