Armed police 'banned from royal residences' as investigation launched into allegations of 'misogynistic' and 'Hitler comments'
A source said the officers were not wanted back...Five armed police have reportedly been banned from royal residences after a female member of staff at Kensington Palace raised a complaint.
The Met Police launched an investigation into allegations of misogynistic behaviour by its Royalty and Specialist Protection officers.
According to sources, aides banned the officers from royal residences.

Police officers ‘banned’ from Kensington Palace following complaints
According to The Sun, one of the officers allegedly complained that Kensington Palace, where the Prince and Princess of Wales have a residence and an office, was “full of little Hitlers”.
It’s been claimed that following a Met investigation, the officers in the Royalty and Specialist Protection (RaSP) unit were ordered to learn from their actions after their alleged conduct was deemed not to reach the misconduct threshold.
The Sun claims that senior Royal Household staff recently took the decision to stop the officers from working at any palaces in the future.
The female staffer reportedly first complained about the officers’ alleged behaviour in October 2024.
Allegations against the officers
She alleged they made “inappropriate” comments between August 2023 and September 2024.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Comments from the officers were perceived as misogynistic though the allegations were tame and none were sexual in nature.”
The Sun reports that the officers were placed on restricted duties during an internal investigation by the Met’s professional standards unit.
The case reportedly fell below the threshold for misconduct. Following the outcome, the officers were cleared to return to their duties.

A spokesman for the Met said: “The reported behaviour falls below the high standards expected of officers, particularly those in frontline protective roles.
“As a result of our internal investigation into this matter, the officers received reflective practice to consider their actions and identify learning for the future.
“It remains a priority for the Met to ensure all officers and staff uphold the highest standards of professionalism, so we can continue to build trust and confidence with those we serve.”
Meanwhile, a source added to The Sun regarding the Royal Household: “A decision was taken that the officers were not wanted back again.”
Former Met officers speak out
Now, according to the publication, the officers are working on other armed duties within the force.
Some other former officers have also spoken out on the allegations.
Former Met royalty protection operational head Dai Davies said he feels “surprised there are so many of them who received complaints and it raises the question of whether there is a culture of misogyny”.
He insisted that given the “sensitivity of the job the officers must be above reproach and behave with decorum at all times”.
