Meghan Markle cooking a waffle sparks wild conspiracy theory among fans
Social media users really aren't happy...
Meghan Markle’s St Patrick’s Day waffle recipe has sparked fury amongst royal observers.
It seems Meghan’s cooking has touched a nerve with some social media users, who bizarrely claim she “faked” cooking a novelty breakfast for her children on St Patrick’s Day.
Sceptics are debating the topic on X…

Meghan Markle sparks conspiracy theory over waffle recipe
It seems Meghan Markle’s kitchen antics are under fire AGAIN! This time, the duchess took to social media to show off a fun breakfast she whipped up for her children to celebrate St Patrick’s Day on Monday.
Meghan, 43, snapped some shots for Instagram whilst making a batch of green waffle batter, dyed with festive food colouring for the occasion, which she simply poured into a waffle press to cook up the quirky finished product… green waffles!
Although this seems like a lot of fun, some fans are claiming that something much more sinister was going on behind the scenes…
They claim Meghan wasn’t being completely truthful about what she made Archie and Lilibet for breakfast and that the whole post was staged.
Meghan captioned a snap of her colourful breakfast creation: “For the kids,” but some sceptical social media users reckon that the Duchess of Sussex hadn’t really made her children the clover green waffles from scratch as she portrayed.
Meghan completed her St Paddy’s Day sentiment by adding: “…and us! Happy St. Patrick’s Day,” alongside a photo of hers and Prince Harry’s breakfast waffles.

Meghan Markle sparks bizarre theory with cooking post
Unfortunately, some eagle-eyed fans aren’t very happy with you, Meg!
This is because some users on X apparently spotted discrepancies with the waffle iron lines left on the breakfast food, claiming that they didn’t line up with the waffle iron Meghan photographed herself using.
One person said: “We have all see Meghan’s fake waffle iron waffles she posted on Instagram. Not the correct lines on them from the waffle iron… She didn’t fresh make them for her kids. She used these frozen waffles.”
The user then shared a screenshot of a box of Kellogg’s green apple flavoured waffles that can be purchased from some supermarkets, claiming this is what Meghan actually served Archie and Lilibet.
It seems the “missing waffle iron marks” sparked swirling speculation over Meghan’s post.

Meghan Markle waffle conspiracy
Another mused over the screenshot of the Kellogg’s waffles circulating on X: “Those frozen waffles are octagonal; hers are a perfect round.
“Probably store-bought, but a different brand. Maybe a local market made them for St Pat’s. The missing waffle iron marks are the giveaway.”
Another said: “Why the big deal? Because her post is showing she made it all from scratch. She is a total liar. About everything.”
One penned: “I immediately saw the difference when I saw the video. I couldn’t grasp the reason to lie about waffles. What kind of person needs to do that?”

Social media users chime in
Another said: “She posted a video of herself using a waffle maker with a divider, yet the so-called ‘homemade’ waffle she presented looked exactly like a store-bought one, missing the dividers that should have been there.
“Why stoop to such a pathetic, pointless lie?”
Meanwhile, other users swooped in to defend Meghan and laugh at those taking issue with her festive breakfast.
You know you can change the waffle iron plates, right?
One said: “Not y’all losing y’all minds because Meghan Sussex made some green waffles.”
“Lol people going crazy because Meghan Markle made green waffles,” chimed in another. “You know you can change the waffle iron plates, right?!”
“Why do I have an ad trying to… slander Meghan Markle making waffles,” questioned another.
Either way, we are sure they were just a bit of fun, right Meghan?
