Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's sad reason they don’t show Archie and Lilibet's faces
They're keeping the kids out of the spotlightPrince Harry has opened up on the real reason he and Meghan Markle choose not to share the faces of Archie and Lilibet.
Harry and Meghan have two young children together – Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four. But royal fans very rarely get to see either of the kids. And when we do, we never see their actual faces.
But it seems Harry and Meghan have been very cautious about this and it’s something both of them decided.

Why do Harry and Meghan not show their kids faces?
Prince Harry featured on American comedian Hasan Minhaj’s podcast to talk about online dangers. And he took the moment to explain why he never shows his own children’s faces.
He spoke about his own reasonings, while admitting that parents “should be really worried” about letting their kids’ faces go online.
Harry explained that the “surge of unregulated AI” means nobody can be sure how or where the pictures will be used. And that seems to be why he and Meghan do not share Archie and Lilibet’s faces.
While he accepted that “parents can do whatever they want” in their own situations, he did issue a warning.
Harry explained: “The reality is from what I have learnt, what I have seen, what I have heard and experienced, especially through the Parents Network. You should be really worried, concerned and cautious about putting photographs of your kids online. Especially now.
“With this surge of unregulated AI, you just don’t know where it’s going to go. You don’t know how it’s going to be used.”
Harry went on to discuss the dangers of social media itself and admitted he doesn’t think young people should be given access to it until they are 21-years-old.
He said: “I think you know, once your brain is properly formed, you are starting to learn who you are.
“I think 21 is a sensible age. But the companies don’t. They won’t ever allow that. They will throw tens of millions of dollars to lobby against that.”

Have we ever seen Archie and Lilibet in images?
While Harry and Meghan keep the faces of Archie and Lilibet away from public eye, we have been getting more and more glimpses of their life.
Ever since Meghan got back on Instagram, she has been posting behind-the-scenes content, giving royal fans a more in-depth look at their life at home. And one of the main things this includes is her children.
However, every time there is a new photo or video of Archie and Lilibet, both of their faces are not included – keeping to Harry and Meghan’s rules.
Elsewhere on the podcast, Harry opened up about tough conversations between him and Meghan regarding phones for children.
He was asked: “I don’t know if you guys have hit this crossroads yet. But what are you going to do when your kids ask for a cell phone?”
Harry admitted: “We talk about it a lot. I think that, because of what we know now, we will be more cautious. We will be hesitant of allowing our kids to have access to social media.”
