Prince Harry 'ready to sit down with King Charles' as he believes 'royals need him and Meghan' following Australia trip
Could the Sussexes visit Britain later this year?Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly feel “very pleased” with how their recent Australia trip went, but could it lead to them reuniting with King Charles?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex embarked on a four-day tour in Australia last week for a string of charitable engagements.
They were met with a warm reaction from the public. Now, according to a new report, Prince Harry believes they are “creating a groundbreaking new blueprint that will stand them in good stead moving forward”.
He also reportedly hopes this could “impress the royals”.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Australia trip could pave way for UK return
Since stepping back from their senior working royal roles in 2020, Harry and Meghan have built a life in the United States.
However, their relationship with the royal family seemingly remains strained. This is thanks to the couple’s tell-all interviews and Harry’s memoir Spare, which detailed their experiences within the monarchy with some damning allegations.
Last September, Harry reunited with his father King Charles for the first time in 19 months. The reunion sparked hope that a reconciliation between father and son could be on the cards.
There has since been rumours that Harry and Meghan could pay the UK a visit this summer for an Invictus Games event.

Harry’s beloved event will be returning to the UK next summer for its 2027 edition. The event is a multi-sport event first held in 2014, for wounded, injured and sick military service personnel, both serving and veterans.

‘It’s time to embrace this new chapter’
Now, a source has claimed that following their Australia trip, Harry and Meghan have a newfound confidence.
The source told Heat: “Harry and Meghan are very pleased with how this trip has gone. It’s given them a lot of confidence and reinforced their belief the tide is finally turning in their favour. They knew there would be some sniping from critics, but in their eyes, the overall reception they received from the general public – and the causes they supported – was incredible.
He believes it’s time to embrace this new chapter together.
“It’s confirmed Harry’s belief they’re creating a groundbreaking new blueprint that will stand them in good stead moving forward – and he’s hoping it will impress the royals.”
The insider added that Harry believes the royals “need him and Meghan flying the flag for the monarchy, especially with all the negativity they’ve endured from the Andrew scandal“.
The source claimed: “He believes it’s time to embrace this new chapter together and he’s ready to sit down with his father and make that happen, hopefully in a couple of months when he next returns to the UK.”
Prince Harry ‘more unhappy than he’s ever been’
Meanwhile, royal commentator Duncan Larcombe recently shared his thoughts on the couple’s Australia trip.
Speaking to the Mirror, Larcombe analysed Harry’s comments during the trip. He spoke about his upbringing and how he had to “cleanse” himself of the past.
Harry also admitted he realised he didn’t want the royal “job” after losing his mother, Princess Diana, when he was 12.
Larcombe said: “He’s been quite open about his childhood being flawed and traumatic, and his personality is very much ‘wear your heart on your sleeve’, which is maybe why he is the one – as opposed to William – who seems tortured by it and why he’s making these emotional outbursts.
“There must have been times when that’s been difficult for Meghan, too. But he seems more unhappy now than he’s ever been.”
Royal Insider has contacted representatives for Prince Harry for comment.
