Kate Middleton's 'concern for Prince William' laid bare amid Andrew crisis as Prince of Wales 'thinking about being king'
The monarchy is going through a tough time at the momentPrince William will one day become king and, according to a royal commentator, his wife Princess Kate may have some concerns for him.
The Prince of Wales, 43, will become king immediately upon the death or abdication of his father, King Charles.
The royal family is currently going through a tough time amid the scandal surrounding the king’s brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Andrew, 66, was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office amid ongoing scrutiny over his past association with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Last October, King Charles, 77, initiated a formal process to have Andrew’s remaining royal titles and honours removed. The decision came amid mounting scrutiny over Andrew’s past links to Epstein.
Since then, the royal family has distanced themselves from Andrew.
The Prince and Princess of Wales made their stance clear earlier this year. In January, the US Department of Justice released more than three million files relating to Epstein and his crimes.
Kate’s first concern has always been William, and giving him support.

‘Kate’s first concern has always been William’
Larcombe told the Mirror: “William is thinking about when he takes the top job, and what he can do to protect and guide the royal family in the future. But for now, they want to carry on as normal at all costs, while staying as distant from Andrew as possible.
“There is no doubt that William is stepping up to effectively be number two in the family, and that King Charles trusts and values his opinion.”

Meanwhile, royal author Katie Nicholl added: “Kate’s first concern has always been William, and giving him support.
