Prince William and Princess Kate release new family photo to mark 15th wedding anniversary
It's been 15 years since William and Kate married at Westminster AbbeyToday marks Prince William and Kate, Princess of Wales’ 15th wedding anniversary and they’ve released a new family photo with their children to celebrate.
The Prince and Princess of Wales tied the knot on April 29, 2011, in a lavish ceremony at Westminster Abbey. It was watched by millions around the globe.
Now, 15 years on, they are happily married and have three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, eight.

On the couple’s joint social media pages on Wednesday, a new family picture was shared. You can see it here.
In the bird’s-eye view photo, William, Kate, George, Charlotte and Louis are seen lying down on the grass in the sunshine.
Prince William and George are looking towards each other. Meanwhile, Kate, wearing a striped top and white jeans, is seen looking at Charlotte and Louis next to her.
The family’s adorable dogs also joined the shot, cuddling up to William.
The post was captioned: “Celebrating 15 years of marriage.”

Fans gush over ‘beautiful’ family picture
In the comments, royal fans were in awe over the family photo and many wished William and Kate a happy anniversary.
One person said: “Wonderful picture.”

Another wrote: “Happy wedding anniversary, what a beautiful family, wishing you all the best.”
Someone else added: “Congratulations to you both, what a wonderful family you have created together.”
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “Happy anniversary, such a beautiful picture!”
It’s unknown how the Prince and Princess of Wales will mark their wedding anniversary this year. However, one royal commentator has shared his thoughts on what they might get up to.

How will William and Kate celebrate their day?
Richard Palmer told the Mirror: “Whenever anyone who knows them is asked how they’ll celebrate, the answer is always the same: privately. They would both much prefer some family holiday time or a private anniversary trip to any big public declarations.
“I can see them going somewhere that means a lot to them, possibly to Africa, or maybe to Mustique.”
What a wonderful family you have created together.
He added: “They’re both quite sentimental and after everything they’ve been through, with Kate’s illness and the many changes in the family, we could see them involving other family members too, maybe Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael, because they’ve been such a big part of their life together.”

The Princess of Wales faced a tough 2024 following her cancer diagnosis. She underwent treatment and announced in January 2025 that she was in remission.
William, of course, was by her side throughout it all. During a solo trip to South Africa in late 2024, William admitted the year had been “brutal”.
