Evidently, the couple failed to make the farm a profitable business. Ultimately, they have thrown in the towel, as per reports.

According to HELLO, the couple applied last year for permission to build a nursery on the site for children aged between nine months and five years.

However, this didn’t exactly go to plan.

Pippa and James’s project plans

Their request was initially approved but later was questioned by the local highways authority.

They raised “significant concerns” about the excess cars in the area that could accumulate due to the new project.

The couple reportedly tried their best to ensure the plan came to fruition. They said that opening the nursery was “essential to securing the farm’s future, enabling it to remain open to the public and continue offering educational and recreational opportunities for the community”.

Despite their attempts, their request was refused.

Not only that, but the establishment was said to have garnered complaints from locals.

As per the Daily Mail, locals criticised Pippa and James’s efforts.

They were said to be unhappy about increasing ticket prices and described the business as a “snooty cash grab”.
