Prince William teases attendance at Taylor Swift's wedding to Travis Kelce following tour appearance with George and Charlotte
Big news for Swifties who are also royal fans!
Prince William just dropped a huge hint that he could be attending Taylor Swift’s eagerly awaited wedding to Travis Kelce.
The Prince of Wales is known to have a friendship with the beloved Love Story singer. So much so, he could even be on the guest-list of her highly anticipated nuptials.

Prince William recently appeared on Heart Breakfast Radio where the all important topic of Taylor Swift came up.
The hosts asked William about meeting the Eras Tour star back in 2024, when they attended on of her concerts at Wembley.
He detailed: “It was at Wembley, so we had a box, so we were watching from up there, which is quite a long way from where the actual action’s happening, but the atmosphere was so incredible. You could actually feel the floors shaking when they were all dancing, so it was brilliant.”
The hosts also joked that due to William’s relationship with Swift, he could be invited to the wedding. They even asked if he had received an invitation.
“No comment,” the Prince of Wales replied. Well, he didn’t say yes, but he also didn’t say no!
He did confirm, however, that the Wales family still has two firm Swifties.

“Charlotte, my daughter, and Louis, to be fair, but both Charlotte, particularly, is obsessed by Taylor Swift.”
Heart radio then played “Opalite” from Taylor Swift’s album The Life of a Showgirl.
“This is for Charlotte,” cohost Jamie Theakston said. “We know she’s listening in the car on the school run.”
William and Kate congratulated Taylor and Travis on their engagement
The Shake It Off singer and her American football star boyfriend shared the news of their engagement with a string of loved-up snaps last August and William and Kate’s even congratulated them on their big news.
Taylor and Travis gushed to Instagram at the time: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Meanwhile, according to People, a look into those who “liked” the news shows that the Prince and Princess of Wales’ joint social media page gave the post a congratulatory double tap.
The Duchess of Sussex from her personal Instagram handle, @meghan, also gave the news a like.
Prince William and Taylor Swift’s friendship
Prince William has known Taylor Swift for some time. They even shared the stage in 2013, where they performed Livin’ On A Prayer with Jon Bon Jovi during a charity event at Kensington Palace.
Taylor and Travis’s engagement came shortly after Travis Kelce’s brother Jason expressed his fears of “disrespecting” Prince William after they crossed paths behind the scenes at the Eras Tour in 2024.
He said during an episode of his New Heights podcast that he worried about holding a beer whilst greeting Wills.
