Kelly Clarkson snubs Meghan Markle over Netflix show despite duchess' gushing comments

Talk show host Kelly Clarkson has shown that Meghan Markle really isn’t on her radar, despite the duchess reportedly being fond of the star.
It seems, Kelly has been completely oblivious to the swirling drama plaguing Meghan Markle. So much so, she was in the dark about her latest Netflix show.
Kelly Clarkson hasn’t heard of Meghan Markle’s new Netflix show
If you have been anywhere on the internet lately, you have probably seen something about Meghan Markle’s new cooking show, With Love, Meghan.
The Duchess of Sussex has been splashed across the Netflix homepage, trending on X (formerly Twitter) and even starring on our screens alongside Drew Barrymore.
Not to mention, the programme even appeared in the top ten Netflix show ranking globally. So if you missed it, you are probably very unplugged.
But apparently, Kelly Clarkson had no idea that Meghan had a brand new series.
While interviewing Brian Tyree Henry on her namesake show, Kelly let slip that she hadn’t been keeping up with Meghan.
Meghan Markle’s cooking show on Netflix baffles Kelly
Kelly asked actor Brian what TV he had been enjoying lately, to which he replied “Atlanta,” and admitted to being “in love with With Love, Meghan right now”.
A clueless Kelly responded: “What is that?”
The Bullet Train star went on to explain Meghan’s cooking and entertaining show, gushing over her use of edible flower sprinkles which he explained you can “apparently put on anything that you want to eat”.
“The new Meghan Markle slash Meghan Duchess of Sussex show, where she’s also like Martha Stewart now,” Brian explained.
“And she’s created these things called flower sprinkles, which you apparently can put on anything that you want to eat, so Lizzie (Elizabeth Olsen) and I were like, ‘We need to get in the flower sprinkles game, like Meghan is onto something that we don’t know about,”‘ he continued.
Kelly was quickly won over, exclaiming: “I would love this show!”

It seems Kelly was completely out of the loop… or was she?
With Love, Meghan saw the former actress inviting a string of guests including close pal and Suits co-star, Abigail Spencer.
The very same Abigail who starred on The Kelly Clarkson Show last February and name-dropped the famous duchess.
Abigail told Kelly: “Meg says hello and that she loves you and that she voted for you on American Idol.”
With Kelly’s link to the duchess and her major fame, the talk show host would be a natural choice of guest for the next series of With Love, Meghan.

But Kelly will have to brush up on some knowledge first… or at least, give it a watch!
It is surprising that Kelly hasn’t caught on to the Meghan Markle buzz, considering she has sparked fresh conversation this week when she launched her luxury lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Meg says hello and that she loves you and that she voted for you on American Idol.
Meghan’s long-awaited brand sold out in just one hour, with the her signature raspberry spread being a coveted purchase due to the conversation following the products since early last year when Meghan first teased the venture.
Perhaps Kelly was just staying shtum?
