Queen Camilla’s ‘clear message’ to Trump with state visit outfit
Meanwhile, for the first day of the state visit, Queen Camilla, 78, sent a message to the Trumps with her outfit.
She wore a white dress with black embroidery from Anna Valentine. She paired the look with nude heels. But it was her style of brooch that caught attention.
Camilla decided to wear a brooch which featured the British and American flags.
Former royal butler Grant Harrold analysed the symbol. Speaking on behalf of Slots Temple, Grant explained: “This is very much an act of diplomacy. These things are never a coincidence or an accident, everything is carefully planned. They know that people will pick up on these things and that’s why they do it.
“The fact that she’s picked this brooch says a lot, she’s sending a clear message about what the king and queen hope to get from this trip – unity.”
