Tortelli is a pasta dish from the Emilia-Romagna region. The Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram page said that Kate’s visit celebrated the “power of inter-generational connection, brought together through food, conversation and shared traditions”.
A video was shared to the Instagram account showing Kate getting stuck in with making the pasta.
However, some X users took issue with Kate in the video. One person shared the clip, writing: “The double standards are exhausting. Meghan prepares food without gloves or a hairnet and gets torn apart by the media & derangers.
“Kate does the exact same thing making pasta in Italy and it is called ‘charming.’ Hypocrisy at its finest.”
